6th Annual Great Manhattan Mystery Conclave - Oct. 30 - Nov. 1
This year’s Conclave will feature California mystery writer Earlene Fowler as the guest of honor. Author of The Saddlemaker’s Wife, and Love Mercy, Fowler is best known for her 14 book quilt-titled series, which includes Fool’s Puzzle and Kansas Troubles. In 1999 she won the Malice Domestic Agatha Award for Best Novel with Mariner’s Compass.

Conclave regular, J. M. “Mike” Hayes has agreed to serve as this year’s toastmaster.

“Not only are we featuring mystery authors as well known to readers as Earlene and Mike,” said event organizer, Marolyn Caldwell, “we are planning to continue our wildly popular law enforcement panel, with Manhattan’s forensic experts telling what they do and why they do it. Also, in honor of our quilting theme, we are planning some surprises, including things for kids to do while their moms and dads visit our Conclave Book Room to meet our authors and have their books autographed.”

Participants can attend all or part of the Conclave.

Where: Holiday Inn at the Campus
Cost: See the registration form on Web site for prices.
