11th Annual Wrap It Up art exhibit - Nov. 6 - Dec. 24
Wrap It Up will feature work from 85 new and returning artists including Gene Ernst, Ralph Fontenot, Lorie Bowman, Albo Glass, Tom Parrish and others. Featured media will include pottery, jewelry, paintings, photography, fiber art, glass, woodwork and more. Thirty percent of “Wrap It Up” sales will benefit the Manhattan Arts Center. MAC Theatre: The Dinner Party - Nov. 19 - Nov. 22
In The Dinner Party, Neil Simon's thirty-first play, he sets out to explore the follies of love with all its brittle nuances. Simon delivers the light romantic comedy and biting dialogue that we have come to expect throughout his plays.

McCain: Shaolin Warriors - Nov. 19
In a beautifully choreographed theatrical production, the Shaolin Warriors bring the remarkable skill, stunning movement and spectacular imagery of Kung Fu to stages throughout the world. Performed by disciples of the Shaolin schools, known throughout the world for their disciplined and deadly martial-arts prowess, these Kung Fu masters have trained from a very young age in mental and physical disciplines, allowing them to perform feats one thought only possible in the movies. The production features many forms of Shaolin Kung Fu as well as a look at the daily life of the warriors and their Zen philosophy.

Robert Day Book Signing & Kathryn Day Paintings Exhibit - Nov. 19
Author Robert Day is best known for his 1977 novel "The Last Cattle Drive," a Kansas tale that has been compared to Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn."

A reception and book signing will follow the reading (4 pm in Hale Library's Hemisphere Room.)
from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Strecker-Nelson Gallery, 406 1/2 Poyntz Ave., downtown Manhattan.

There will be an exhibit of paintings by Kathryn Jankus Day -- Robert Day's wife, whose paintings are used as illustrations for his books -- at the Gallery. There are watercolors and oil paintings in the exhibit and they will be available for purchase.

Renewal: K-State Art Department Faculty Biennial - Sep. 11 - Dec. 24
With the new galleries at the Beach Museum, there is now space to effectively disply the work of the K-State art faculty. The works on display have been created in the past two years, giving visitors the opportunity to examine the depth and quality of art being produced by those leading the art department.
